Appropriate Maine Physical Education Teacher Certification required (510).
Current Adapted Physical Education endorsement required (515) OR a willingness to complete the endorsement within a two-year period.
A strong background in physical education, fitness and human movement is preferred
Ability to implement current research and best practice into physical education, fitness, and motor movement instructional design
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with colleagues for program design and implementation
A willingness to contribute to the total functioning of the school by leading and promoting school activities
